Beard trim

Have your beard expertly blown out, tapered, trimmed and outlined like a boss!

Wet or Dry Shave

Wet Shave is a traditional three towel shave (2 hot, 1 cold) to include a head and shoulder massage. This takes 30 to 45 min. Please contact us directly to book an appointment for this service.

Dry Shave is done with a mechanical trimmer and shaver. It gets just as close as a wet shave, but is done in less time.

Beard Color

About Us

Glen Rose Gentlemen's Grooming is owned and operated by Brent Moore. Brent is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer who, at the age of 18, picked up his first set of clippers as a side hustle and became what is known as a Deployment Barber. After serving for 21 years, Brent, along with his wife and 4 children, moved back to Texas. In 2015, they moved to the Granbury / Glen Rose area where Brent began to build clientele at a chain hair salon.

Sherra-Lyn Stone graduated Diamond Hill High School in 1991 where she earned her license. She has been styling hair for 34 years. In 2006, Sherra-Lyn, along with her husband and 6 children moved to Glen Rose where she has continued to cut hair for nearly 20 years. The young men who sat in her chair back then are now brining their sons to see her!

Brent and Sherra started working together in 2016. In 2020, Brent and Sherra decided that they wanted to open a Men's Salon / Barber shop to meet the growing need for men's cuts in Glen Rose.

BUT...COVID SHUT THEM DOWN!!!

In 2022, after the worst of the Covid scare was over, Brent and Sherra joined the Team at the LaRue Salon & Spa where they opened a men's grooming area in the downstairs portion of the salon and continued to grow clientele. Three years later, Brent was finally ready to open his own shop.

GLEN ROSE GENTLEMEN'S GOOMING became a reality in February 2025!!!
